How is NumberBroom different from Gryphon AI?
Short answerThey solve different problems. Gryphon ONE is a contact compliance platform that sits between your dialer or CRM and the customer. Before each call, text or email it returns a pass-or-block decision covering federal and state DNC, consent, the Reassigned Numbers Database, calling hours and known litigators. It publishes no pricing; every route forward is "Talk to an Expert". NumberBroom does something much narrower: carrier validation and a TCPA litigator check on a CSV you upload, at $0.20 per number with a $5 minimum, priced before you pay. NumberBroom doesn't check the Do Not Call Registry.

Gryphon ranks near the top of search results for TCPA compliance software, so it's a natural name to compare. But Gryphon and NumberBroom are different kinds of product, and a price comparison alone would mislead. This page is mostly about where the scope line falls.
A decision on every call versus one cleaned file
Gryphon ONE works inside your outreach systems. Through native integrations with Genesys Cloud, Salesforce, Pega, Google Cloud and NiCE, or through a REST API, it checks a contact before each attempt and returns pass or block. Its compliance pages list federal and state DNC, wireless and ported numbers, the Reassigned Numbers Database, frequency and curfew rules, a litigator database with real-time call blocking, and consent and preference management. The higher editions add post-call analysis and in-call compliance monitoring.
NumberBroom does one narrow job before outreach starts. You upload a CSV and get back only the rows that passed, with line type, carrier and an activity score added, and known TCPA litigators removed and counted. Each job also gets a Record of compliance screening. Nothing about NumberBroom runs during a call.
NumberBroom doesn't check the DNC registry
Gryphon checks federal and state Do Not Call status as part of its decision. NumberBroom doesn't check the National Do Not Call Registry or any state list, so it can't stand in for that check. Who has to hold registry access is explained in Do I need a SAN?.

One detail matters if litigator screening is the reason you're looking. On Gryphon's editions page, the Litigator and Professional Plaintiff List appears under Advanced, not Foundation, the batch tier that names SMBs. Confirm which edition you're being quoted before assuming it's included.
Where each one fits
- You run a regulated outbound operation (a contact center, collections, insurance or financial services) and your obligations include DNC, consent, calling hours and frequency on every attempt. Frequently asked questions
What does Gryphon AI cost?
They don't publish a price. As of a scrape on 14 September 2026, no dollar figure appears on Gryphon's editions page, compliance pages, integrations page or vendor comparison, and a search of the site turns up no pricing page. Each of those pages ends in "Talk to an Expert", which opens a meeting-booking calendar, and API access is requested the same way. The editions page lists four tiers (Foundation, Advanced, Premium and Enterprise) with features but no prices.
Is Gryphon only for large enterprises?
Not by its own description. Most of the site is written for regulated enterprises in financial services, insurance, healthcare and collections, but the Foundation edition (portal-based batch list processing for the phone channel) names SMBs among its intended buyers. You still reach it through a sales conversation, so a small business can buy it but can't just sign up and start.
Is DNCScrub a Gryphon product?
No. DNCScrub belongs to Contact Center Compliance, the company behind DNC.com, which now operates as Sonera; the dncscrub.com login page is branded "DNCScrub by Sonera". We found no DNCScrub product on gryphon.ai. For how NumberBroom compares to that company, see NumberBroom vs. DNC.com.
Does NumberBroom do what Gryphon does, for less?
No, and treating them as substitutes would be a mistake. Gryphon checks each contact at the moment it happens: federal and state DNC, consent records, calling hours, contact frequency, reassigned numbers and litigators, blocking calls that fail. NumberBroom checks a file once, before anyone dials, for line type, carrier, activity and TCPA litigators. It doesn't check the Do Not Call Registry, manage consent, enforce calling hours or block a live call. If those are your obligations, you need a platform, and NumberBroom doesn't substitute for one.
