Effective Date: October 21, 2026
These Terms of Service (the "Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Customer," "User," "you," or "your") and Hexoglyph Holdings, LLC, a limited liability company ("Hexoglyph," "Company," "we," "us," or "our"), governing your access to and use of the NumberBroom platform and related services (the "Service").
NumberBroom is a proprietary brand name and product identifier of Hexoglyph Holdings, LLC.
By accessing, registering for, or using the Service, you affirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not access or use the Service.
"Service" means the NumberBroom platform, including its phone number validation, contact grading, lead hygiene, litigator screening, name-match verification, activity scoring, and related APIs, dashboards, reporting tools, and web-based interfaces.
"Company" means Hexoglyph Holdings, LLC, including its officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, successors, and assigns.
"Customer" or "User" means any individual or legal entity that creates an account, uploads data, configures workflows, or otherwise uses the Service.
"Customer Data" means phone numbers, names, email addresses, physical addresses, and any other contact information submitted by a Customer for verification through the Service.
"Verification Results" means the outputs generated by the Service, including validity indicators, activity scores, contact grades (A through F), line-type classifications, carrier information, litigator flags, and name-match assessments.
"Applicable Law" means all federal, state, local, and international laws, regulations, and industry standards applicable to data verification, telecommunications, privacy, and consumer protection.
Interpretation rules: "Including" means "including without limitation." Headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation. Singular includes plural and vice versa.
NumberBroom is a data verification and lead hygiene platform designed to help Customers assess the quality, validity, and contactability of phone numbers and associated contact information. The Service processes Customer Data through verification engines and returns Verification Results including phone validity, line type, carrier identification, activity scores, contact grades, email deliverability, name-match indicators and, for Business Line Lookup, the business name and industry behind a business line. Name Match checks one number against a name you supply and, when the number is a registered business line, shows the business and its public Google listing. The Service never returns the name, address or demographics of a private individual who owns a phone number. On an uploaded file, numbers matched to known TCPA litigators are removed from the clean output file rather than flagged, counted, and returned to you in a separate file of removed rows and a file of litigator matches; the API returns a litigator risk flag for each valid United States number it checks, and says so when a number the lookup reports as not valid was not screened.
The Service operates as a data processing tool. It does not initiate phone calls, send text messages, or make any direct contact with the individuals whose data is submitted for verification.
You represent and warrant that:
Hexoglyph reserves the right to refuse service to any Customer at its sole discretion.
You are solely and exclusively responsible for:
Hexoglyph does not review Customer Data for legal sufficiency and assumes no responsibility for how you obtained the data you submit or how you use the results returned.
NumberBroom provides data verification services only. The Service does not send SMS messages, initiate phone calls, or make any direct contact with individuals whose data is processed.
You acknowledge and agree that:
5.1 Federal Do Not Call Registry check. If you are signed in and have linked the Subscription Account Number (SAN) of your own subscription to the National Do Not Call Registry, and we have verified that link, an uploaded list of up to 1,000 billable rows (a number listed twice counts twice), or a list of that size sent through the API to be scrubbed, is also checked against the federal registry, at no extra charge. By linking a SAN you represent that it was issued to you or your organization for your own subscription, and you authorize Hexoglyph to access the registry on your behalf as your service provider. We use registry data obtained under your subscription only to remove registered numbers from your own scrubs, and you may use the result only to avoid calling numbers on the registry. You remain responsible for your subscription, for any fees the Federal Trade Commission charges for it, for keeping it current and covering the area codes you call, and for linking the new SAN the Federal Trade Commission issues when you renew; until a current SAN is linked and verified, lists are not checked. The check covers the federal registry only, using registry data downloaded under your subscription within the previous 31 days. It does not cover state do-not-call lists, the do-not-call list you keep in your account settings (which is applied separately, as described in Section 9), lists over 1,000 billable numbers, guest checkouts, the free tools, or one-number API lookups.
The Service utilizes third-party verification providers and proprietary processing logic to generate Verification Results. Due to the nature of telecommunications data, results may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or inconsistent across carriers and regions.
Contact grades, activity scores, and name-match indicators are probabilistic assessments based on available data signals. They are not guarantees of contactability, identity, or data accuracy.
Customers are responsible for independently verifying critical information before taking action based on Verification Results.
You may not use the Service to:
Hexoglyph may suspend or terminate access for violations without notice.
The Service is provided on a commercially reasonable basis. Hexoglyph does not guarantee uninterrupted access, specific uptime percentages, or real-time availability. Service performance depends in part on third-party verification providers and telecommunications infrastructure outside our control.
Scheduled maintenance windows and known outages will be communicated through the NumberBroom dashboard or status page when feasible.
Uploaded-file jobs are priced in graduated volume bands published on the NumberBroom website, and each billed unit is priced in its own band, so a larger list never costs less than a smaller one. A billable row is a row whose phone column holds a recognizable United States phone number (the 50 states and the District of Columbia, toll-free numbers included). A number outside the United States, including Canada, Puerto Rico and the other US territories, and the Caribbean countries that share the +1 country code, is not checked and is not billed by the scrub. Outside-US Number Check, an optional add-on to an uploaded-file job, returns the line type, carrier and country of those numbers and is billed per distinct number at the price shown before you pay; it is not a litigator or do-not-call check. On a scrub, the billed unit is each distinct phone number among the billable rows: a number that appears more than once in the file, in any format, is billed once. On Scrub + Grade, the billed unit is each billable row, because each row is graded on its own. A row whose number is on the do-not-call list you keep in your account settings is removed before processing and is not billed, when you are signed in at checkout. Business Line Lookup is priced per contact and API queries at a flat rate per query. Prices are subject to change with notice. A minimum charge applies to each uploaded-file job, and a minimum amount applies to each pre-paid API credit top-up; both are stated before you pay.
Uploaded-file jobs are paid in advance at checkout. API usage is paid from a pre-paid credit balance purchased in advance. A list sent through the API to be scrubbed is an uploaded-file job: it is priced the same way and paid by card through a checkout link, never from credits.
One uploaded-file job processes up to 10,000 rows. If a file has more, the job processes and prices the first 10,000 rows only, and the remaining rows are offered back to you as a separate file for another job.
You agree that:
9.1 Pre-paid API credits. API access is billed against a pre-paid balance held on your account. Credits do not expire and are not redeemable for cash. If Hexoglyph terminates your access other than for breach of these Terms, we will refund your unused balance. Credits have no value outside the Service and may not be transferred or resold.
9.2 API keys and limits. An API key authorizes spending against your credit balance, so you are responsible for keeping it confidential and for all usage under it, whether or not you authorized that usage. You may hold up to ten (10) active keys, each of which may carry its own daily call ceiling, and a default daily ceiling applies to every key. Hexoglyph may revoke any key at any time where it is compromised, abused, or used in breach of these Terms. Revoking a key does not affect your credit balance. Connecting an AI assistant to your account creates a separate key for that connection, which spends from the same balance and does not count toward the ten; up to five such keys are kept, the least recently used revoked first, and you can disconnect one in your account settings.
9.3 Free tools. The free phone number lookup allows up to five (5) lookups per email address per day, and the free file preview covers up to twenty (20) rows, once per email address per day. Both are also limited per network and in total per day.
9.4 Name Match. Name Match is priced per check and paid in advance at checkout. A check answers whether the name you supply matches the number, does not match it, or cannot be checked, and shows the business behind a registered business line. It also says whether the number is flagged for spam, robocall or fraud activity, a signal about the number rather than a finding about any caller. If a check returns none of those first three (no answer on the name, no registered business and no business listing), the full price is refunded to your original payment method automatically, whatever the spam flag says. Otherwise the fee is earned when the check runs, whatever the answer. A number may be checked at most three (3) times per day across all customers. You may use Name Match only to verify a name you were given for a number, never to identify, locate, monitor or harass a person.

Hexoglyph may modify these Terms at any time by posting updated Terms on the NumberBroom website. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
